I remember very clearly when one of the top ballerinas of my first ever ballet company came to talk to me.

She wanted to pass on her advice and told me a story of when a director once told her being a professional is 'cheating', which she didn't understand.

Soon, she realised and wished she had become more 'free' earlier in her career: to let go, take risks and make mistakes to learn from it.

She told me, if I dance from my heart it will be there, but I have to just dance.
