Hello Odette,
This summer I hope to go to Santa Monica school of ballet summer intensive. I will not be able to be there for the ballet performance that means I will have to miss 1 class a day of dance rehearsal. Please give me your opinion on this school's summer intensive. I will also be going to europe with my family in the summer are there any ballet schools open in the summer for level b students on pointe? Thank you!!

There is more or less a good summer intensive in each country. I feel the most beneficial summer intensive are the ones that are based from professional ballet schools, as hey give aspiring dancers a true insight to a training dancer's life.
Here is a list of just a few of europe's summer intensives which would definitely be worth checking out -

International Summer Course - Ecole Superieure de Danse de Cannes (Cannes)
Theilaia 10th International Stage (Lyon)

What are the best places for summer intensives? I have been looking at lots of websites for summer intensives this summer and have found many that look very good. However, I'm not sure which ones are really good. What do you think?
P.S. I am 12 years old right now but will be 13 over the summer and I am fairly advanced for my age. i have been on pointe for 2 years.

I wouldn't advise anyone to go to Biarritz summer school, we just came back and it was terrible. there were 75 people in one class with absolutely no room at the barre and no corrections from any of the teachers. it's just one big cattle market!
