Career Development Plan - Perfect Ballerina
I am 14 years old and dance almost 30 hours a week,
I want to be a perfect ballerina...
HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS:
1. What is the best diet for a ballerina: I WANT TO LOOSE 10 POUNDS AT LEAST
(My diet includes:
Breakfast: Waffles/cereal
Snack: Brownie/cookie/pudding
Lunch: Bean Burrito
Snack: Candy
Dinner: Mac n' Cheese
Snack: Ice cream
I drink about 4 cups of water a day)
2. What are the best measurements
Mine are: Height 5'3", Weight 97 lbs, Rib Cage (Right bellow my bust) 25 in., Bust 28 in., Widest Point On Body 30 in.
3. WILL COMPANIES NOT ACCEPT ME BECAUSE I'M NOT FLAT CHESTED?
(I'm a B cup)
Thanks,
PLEASE RESPOND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Hello,
Thank you for your query.
Perhaps consider seeking a nutritionist if you are looking for a specific diet plan for you. Particularly dance or sports nutritionists are very beneficial, as they will work individually with you to find a solution for your needs.
I would suggest you to eat a healthy, balanced diet full of nutritious foods. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, complex carbohydrates, whole grains and lean proteins. Drink plenty of water too, 2 litres a day is the recommended amount.
Body measurements are dependent on many factors such as your height and your age. It is hard to give the "best" measurements, as each dancer is individual.
Again, like I said in your last answer, ballerina's are not always completely flat chested, we are women too so you have to remember not to strive for an unhealthy or unrealistic body image.
All the best,
Odette
